In Delaware communities, the Food Bank Of Delaware understands that accessing food pantries can be challenging for some residents. Factors such as health concerns or lack of transportation can create barriers to obtaining nutritious food. To address these challenges, the Food Bank of Delaware is proud to offer a vital home delivery program, ensuring that individuals and families in need receive essential food assistance directly at their homes.

This crucial service provided by the Food Bank of Delaware delivers a box of non-perishable food items right to the doorsteps of registered participants. Each delivery includes a selection of nutritious staples, such as canned fruits and vegetables, cereals, dry milk, pasta, and other shelf-stable goods designed to create balanced meals.

Deliveries from the Food Bank of Delaware home delivery program are conveniently scheduled once a month. Thanks to a partnership with Amazon and Amazon Flex drivers, the distribution of these essential non-perishable food boxes is efficient and reliable.

To participate and receive a monthly food box from the Food Bank of Delaware, it is important to sign up in advance. Please ensure you request a box by the 20th of the month prior to the month you wish to receive delivery. For example, to receive a food box in April, registration must be completed by March 20th at midnight.
