My own introduction to the delights of Venezuelan cuisine, particularly the iconic arepa, happened serendipitously. A fortunate turn of events led me to a cooking class featuring Las Carolinas, affectionately known as Carolicious, hosted at the Foundation Kitchen on Washington Street. That experience ignited a passion that continues to this day, inspiring my own arepa creations at home. Yet, these homemade attempts pale in comparison to the authentic flavors and textures offered by Carolicious.
What sets Carolicious apart is their commitment to flavor-packed dishes, highlighted by their signature basil sauce that adds a creamy richness to every bite.
