From its inception, Superba Food + Bread made a mark not only with its cuisine but also its design, earning the AIA/LA Restaurant Design Award in its opening year for its airy and welcoming space, crafted in collaboration with Design, Bitches.
More than just a restaurant, Superba Food + Bread in Venice operates as a community hub, functioning as a dine-in eatery, a quick stop coffee shop, and a bakery brimming with fresh delights. Locals and visitors alike can pop in for a perfectly crisp baguette, savor a flaky chocolate croissant alongside their morning cappuccino, or settle down for a satisfying meal showcasing Southern California’s incredible produce, sourced from local farms and Superba’s own garden.
The Superba family has since grown, introducing Superba Snacks + Coffee, a daytime-only casual concept in North Hollywood and Pasadena, and Superba Bakehouse, an online pre-order service for artisanal breads and pastries. In 2021, Superba Food + Bread expanded its reach, opening a second full-service location in a truly iconic Hollywood space: the former home of The Cat & Fiddle. This new location brings the beloved Superba experience to the heart of Hollywood, blending the original Venice charm with a touch of classic Hollywood history.
